Mother Admits Assault At Christmas Concert

December 19, 2013

A 27 year old mother of three this morning [Dec 19] admitting assaulting another woman in the hallway of a school just prior to the school’s Christmas concert.

Stephanie Hollis pleaded guilty to assaulting another woman and using threatening words to her.

She was given a Conditional Discharge with twelve months probation during which she must undergo programs as set by the Department of Court Services.

Crown Counsel Maria Sofianos told Senior Magistrate Archie Warner that this occurred during the buildup to the school Christmas concert, around 6:30pm on 4th December 2013 in the hallway at Purvis.

Ms Hollis pushed the other woman and told her: “I’m going to bust your a** because you’re too smart.”

The Crown Counsel told the Senior Magistrate that the two women were separated by other adults.

The Court heard that Ms Hollis left the school, but returned to the area in a car and shouted to the victim: “I’m going to bust your a**.”

Questioned by the Senior Magistrate, Ms Hollis said that she had been taught: “….if someone hits you, hit them back.”

Ms Hollis also told the Magistrate that: “I believe in dealing with it in the streets.”

Crown Counsel referred to Ms Hollis’ previous record and previous stints on probation where, as confirmed by Ms Hollis, she had completed an Anger Management Course organized by Probation Services.

What kind of hot ignorant mess is this?? Of all places, in a school just before a kids’ concert?? Lady, grow up!! “Dealing with it in the streets” is beyond ghetto, especially for a mother of three! Grow up for the sake of your kids!

The grinch does have a resemblance to Sean Crockwell. I thought i was the only person who thought that.

  7. terry says:

    Did her husband say anything?
    27 years old with 3 children and………………….

    • Chelsea Paynter says:

Lmao exactly no husband no nothing and I bet she wonders why

  8. honest vibez says:

I think there is too much leniency involved in this especially since she has a history. Not only did this happen in front of her upset and embarrassed kids but also in front of the rest of the children involved in the school play. Completely unacceptable and changed the mood for the entire evening with many children upset at what they had just seen. She should serve the holidays behind bars.

  9. Lmao says:

I’m not surprised at all wouldn’t expect much from her! Lol get ya life girl

  10. SMH says:

The thought of thinking to approach someone in that manner right before your childs Christmas play is just straight disrespectful, especially with other children around. For a mother of 3 you have no self respect or morals, what exactly are you teaching your children by acting like you have no home training? And then we wonder why our children of today are the way they are, Lead by example. It’s time to grow up!!

  11. Speckled Hind says:

She sounds like a classy lady – NOT.

  12. mixitup says:

We’ll be reading about her in another few years. Just plain and simply GHETTO and un-ladylike. Sad part, she prally thinks she did nothing wrong.

  13. Dog don't bite meat. says:

Double standards for females if that was two men I could guarantee one of them would be spending his Christmas inside WestGate. This is half the reason so many of our children lack respect. We have some women/ mothers with no sought of class of respect for themselves let alone others.

  14. Its a fact says:

“Im going to bust your a** because your too smart” Wow!!! This isn’t funny at all. Especially today, geecums when did we as a people become so enraged over someone else being “smart”. What makes it worst is the fact that this behavior usually comes from us “tough guys” and not expected of mothers, especially at an event such as a school play. When mothers start becoming the instigators and not the mediators, our children don’t stand a chance!! It must be embarrassing for the children to go to school everyday and face the other kids after witnessing the incident.

  15. KM says:

She so ignorant…..she should have got some jail time with her response.

  16. Truth is killin' me... says:

RATCHET TO THE NINTH DEGREE!! SHE’LL MISBEHAVE DURING HER TWELVE MONTHS PROBATION…TRUST ME!!!

  17. A Clue - says:

She really can’t help it. Her legacy is binding. She was predisposed to this sort of lifestyle and mindset. It is amazing to me that we have a whole generation which is so cognitively deficient. Having had an employment relationship with her, she really does not think there is anything wrong with “busting somebody’s ass just prior to her child’s Christmas concert.” She sees nothing wrong with that. Thats the greatest travesty.

  18. bornb says:

Totally disgusting and by the way it was after the school play in the hallway outside in the parking lot and in the street of school grounds… in front of parents children teachers and dignitaries!!! Conditional discharge!!!???? Too much of these wanna be gangster women using their children as excuses on why they need not be locked up!!! Enough is enough. For the record it had nothing at all to do with school issues they bought their personal business in the school and created havoc and chaos after a GREAT play. They wasnt worrying abt their children then were they. Piss poor behaviour. And yes… i was there n witnessed it.

  19. Stephanie Hollis says:

Please stop ruining the name for the rest of us. Thank you.

    • A Clue - says:

You are ruining your own name Ms. Hollis.

      • New Bermudian says:

A Clue- there’s more than one Stephanie Hollis in this community, so be careful! Not all of them are violent ghetto mamas…

    • SMH says:

And you have the nerve to say something… Somebody fell out of the stupid tree!! LMAO sad!

    • let's be real says:

pretty sure anyone involved ruined their own name, Stephanie. If someone doesn’t want their business talked about in a public manner, maybe they should learn to grow the hell up and act like a respectable human by not airing their nonsense in public.

These poor kids, I hope that they are ashamed enough of their mother to not follow her ways, otherwise, they are going to have sad sad lives.

  20. unbelievable says:

Look up this guy on u-tube he has it correct. Tommy Sotomayor.

  21. Hmm says:

3 children, and she is aged 27?? Was she in some type of race to see who could have the most kids by 27? This story stinks of dysfunction, lack of parenting, or any form of discipline whatsoever. Very grateful I don’t have to teach any of her offspring. Can someone spell birth control?

    • Its a fact says:

Lets be respectful of the children.they did not ask to be born. They may be mature enough to understand what an idi-tic parent they have and may just be wonderful students. If you are a teacher you probably have students that are in similar situations.I would hope you are not a teacher making those comments.

    • New Bermudian says:

My mother-in-law had two by the time she was 24, and both turned out great, and she was married for 44 years. Young mothers aren’t the same thing as teen mothers, and more to the point, young mothers aren’t bad ones. Why is it more acceptable for others in different socioeconomic brackets to have lots of kids, and no one cares about how young or old they are? SMH. That’s not the point. Behaviour is, stay on topic, people.

  22. lol says:

Imma jus laugh! Steph ya been crazy girl. But ya gotta do betta now for ya children boo.

  23. Really!? says:

Well this woman clearly needs to learn to grow up. She sounds beyond disrespectful and ignorant. And in front of others and worst of all CHILREN!? What type of role model is she to her children? She isn’t one and that’s the sad part. I feel sorry for her children No child deserves to be brought up by someone who believes beating someone is right. It’s just immature. I don’t care how ghetto she may be, growing up is about learning what wrong and what’s right. There’s smarter ways to resolve issues. Especially when you’re a woman. But threatening is not the way regardless of how you’re brought up.
Maybe this woman could be proof to why people who want to have children should apply/ take classes to become a parent.
    Just damn disgraceful!

  24. WTH says:

And LOL to her having time to comment. Maybe she could use the computer to write an apology to the children and the other woman.

    • Its a fact says:

She didn’t comment.that was someone with the same name

  25. Come On Man says:

Adults create children imitate. In this case I hope not.

  26. Tricks Are For Kids says:

Wisdom comes with maturity……she should have been WISE enough to ignore the other person she overheard talking about her (as reported on the news)…..talk is cheap and anyone could afford it…….she should have just walked away………

  27. Nuffin but da Truth says:

    100% GHETTO.

  28. Karma says:

Girl’s been watching too many episodes of ‘Dance Moms’ and thinks this is acceptable behavior.

  29. janice says:

    ratchettttttttt!!!!! GROW UP PLEASE!

    • sage says:

Do you all mean wretched or ratchet, as in jamaican switchblade? Ikes brew.

  30. SMMFH says:

Why am I not surprised?! Grow the hell up girl! Smdh!

  31. well says:

Well people, the world is real. Some people act smart and think the law is going to protect you when you start something like a spoiled child. At the end of the day the law can’t protect you 24/7 so don’t put yourself in more than you can handle.

  32. sayitaintso says:

I feel sorry for the children

  33. godson says:

Obviously, this young lady needs real serious help..she has already completed an anger management course, and is sent back to court services with a conditionaL discharge? No mandatory apology, volunteer, and community service AT the school? Either we change the court service system or we change the P.O. Officers…clearly, something isn’t working in the system!!

    • Real talk (original) says:

What do PO’s and Court Services have to do with anything? If you wanted an apology or community service a judge would have had to order it…

    • let's be real says:

a mandatory apology is a complete waste of time. An apology is meant to be sincere, otherwise it’s just a bunch of lies. Also I would NOT want this woman near my child so volunteering at the school is a bad idea. She should have to wear a sign stating “I’m a bully and need to learn respect for myself and others” while she cleans up the roadside for a few miles. This works in other countries.

  34. Not surprised! says:

Wow Stephanie, 10-15 years later and you’re still living that low class, ghetto, nothinary life? Have Mercy! Those poor babies!

  35. Noway says:

    Apple don’t fall to far.

  36. Hmmm says:

Your children love you , and your behaviour and attitudes set an example for them. Please, please swallow your pride and show them the correct way to behave with dignity humility and respect. Make a better life for them and a better chance for them. It ain’t about you anymore as soon as the first baby was born.

  37. Mark says:

I like that she flipped the affluenza defense and made a new one. She should have created a name for it….any ideas? Destitutitis?

  38. Gopher says:

The Grinch picture is a killer lololololol. Moreso because i noticed it after reading the headline

  39. Reality Check says:

I’m sure the Stephanie Hollis that commented is not the 1 that this headline is all about, common sense will tell any1 that by what she said… Steph is a Ghetto mom can’t fight all mouth but acts bad seen de girl cry when she thinks Parkside Girls are rolling up on her… Steph wants to be a legacy be a legacy to your kids and your family…… my personal oppinion go back school get a degree set an example for your kids and take control of your life not tryna control other’s lives… Grow de F up
