Gunshots Fired In Devonshire, No Injuries

[Updated] The police have confirmed that gunshots were fired in Devonshire last night, with the incident taking place in the area of the “Boat Club” on North Shore at around midnight.

A police spokesperson said, “At 12:01am police responded to a report of gunshots being heard in the area of North Shore road in Devonshire [150 meters east of Dock Hill].

“Upon police arrival it was forensically confirmed that a firearm was discharged, however no one was injured.

“Police are appealing for anyone with any information on this incident to contact police on 295-0011 or call the confidential Crimestoppers hotline on 800 8477.”

Update 10.40am: An additional police statement said, “Around 12am on Monday, July 14th police officers responded to reported gunshots in the North Shore Road, Devonshire area.

“Forensic evidence collected from the scene confirmed that a firearm was discharged in the vicinity of the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club; however there were no reported injuries.

“An active investigation into this confirmed firearm incident is ongoing and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone that may have seen suspicious persons or vehicles in the North Shore Road, Devonshire area near the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club around midnight Monday to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”

      These guys live in their own world. The best we can do (short term) is lock the ring leaders up. But as they get let out, most go back to instilling hate and fear In those young men looking for status, strength, love or a twisted form of fame. It has very little to do with who is in power PLP or OBA?
