Is the airport operating today or all flights are already cancelled? Thanks
Before the hurricane they said the airport would be shut the 17th and 18th..( all these flights were cancelled) now it all depends on how much damage they occured
Kylie, I believe it has been declared the airport will remain closed until sometime tomorrow. They are assessing the state of the runways as well as the buildings.
Hi Bermuda glad we still alive praise to everyone for standing tall during our hurricane crisis, Give thanks and praise!!
Bernews Thank’s for the updates and the photo’s, Thankful that in-spite of the damages we have no lost of life and we have once gain survived a serious hurricane.
Thank you so much, BerNews, for providing such great coverage before, during and after Gonzalo. You are always my “go to” source for what is going on. Great job, always!
Am so thankful that nobody was seriously hurt or died during the storm. It will be a long haul before things are back to normal, but that strong Bermudian spirit will prevail.
I had the Port webcam on the computer screen for hours watching the storm and seeing the stark contrast to the weather during my visit. Thank you to the person or persons operating the camera. It really shows the dangerous power of a hurricane.
I’m so impressed with the good outcome due to building codes, preparations, people heeding the warnings and the community spirit. It is a stellar example to those of us who live in other hurricane-prone areas.
Best wishes to you all in the recovery efforts. And congratulations to the new parents of the hurricane baby.
I was worried about my family. I hope everyone is safe.
Thank you ,Bernews.com for providing photos.
