Eight Videos: Primary School Choir Competition

Some of the island’s talented young singers took to the stage as the third annual Primary School Valentine’s Choir Competition took place over two nights this weekend.

The eastern schools contest took place on February 12, and the western schools competition took place on February 13, with cash prizes for winning schools.

All the stage work was done by students of The Berkeley Institute; Lorrita Tucker, Lloyd Matthews and John Woolridge served as judges, while Nadanja Bailey served as the host for the night.

The Eastern zone contest was held on Friday night; with Northlands Primary winning the event, Prospect Primary named as first runner up, while Elliot Primary was the second runner up.

The Western zone competition was held on Saturday night; with Port Royal Primary winning, Somerset Primary named as first runner up and West End Primary was the second runner up, and eight videos from the Saturday night event are below.
