Photos & Results: RFC Founders Day Rugby

The Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s League Season took a back seat as the Renegades RFC Founders Day matches took place at the National Sports Centre this past weekend.

In Women’s Division, the Renegades Women’s 1st Team defeated The Rest 4 – 2, the Renegades got a hat-trick from Rachel Jenkins and a single try from Laura Mulligan, while Jo Murray and Amanda Swan scored a try each for The Rest.

The Renegades Women’s 2nd Team got tries from Nikki Palle and Laura Fitzsimmons as they defeated The Rest 2 – 0.

In Men’s Division action the Renegades Men’s 1st XV defeated the Bermuda National XV 39 – 14. The Renegades got two tries from Charles Craigs and Jamie Baum, while Paul Kelly and Tom Healy added a try each, Rich Cumbers kicked three conversions and one penalty.

The Bermuda National XV got a try each from Andre Bolotenko and Antonio Perinchief, while Dan Cole kicked two conversions.
