Photos & Video: Rene Hill Fashion Designs

November 4, 2016

Rene Hill was one of the designers featured at the Bermuda Fashion Collective Show held last night at the Bermuda Society of Arts at City Hall.

According to the event programme, ”Rene learned to sew in high school and from her aunt, Lynette Jones who was a master kilt maker for Triminghams. She perfected her tailoring skills as an apprentice to Lynette when she moved to NY to sew for several major US fashion designers.

“In 2007 Rene revisited her childhood love for crochet and the popularity of her knit creations led her to plunge back into the world of fashion with Rene Hill Originals. She now specializes in made to measure, ready to wear fashion and custom tailored alterations as well as her beautiful and original crochet scarves.

“The Rene Hill Originals latest collection has a mixture of colourful scarves with textiles ranging from furs to her classic crochet.”
