Photos & Results: BHF Women’s Field Hockey

Recent Bermuda Hockey Federation action in the women’s division saw the Swallows defeat the Bluebirds while the Sandpipers were defeated by the Longtails.

Swallows 2 Bluebirds 0

The Swallows picked up an important win at the National Sports Centre as they defeated the Bluebirds 2 – 0.

Ciara Brady scored a field goal for the Swallows in the 11th minute to make it 1 – 0 and in the 60th minute Nicola Stoddart scored a field goal to double the Swallows lead and record the win.

Sandpipers 0 Longtails 4

The battle of youngsters in the league saw the Longtails defeat the Sandpipers 4 – 0. Tihana Booth gave the Longtails the lead in the 28th minute scoring a field goal. Delia Cooper doubled the lead in the 32nd minute also connecting with a field goal.

A field goal in the 34th minute off the stick of Pier Simmons made the score 3 – 0 and then one minute later Robin Stempel scored a field goal to extend the Longtails lead to 4 – 0.
