November 24, 2018

A total of 15 goals were scored in a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink as the Bermuda Ball Hockey Association’s Winter League season continued.

Worchester Railers 2 Calgary Hitmen 4

The Calgary Hitmen jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead in the First Period and never looked back on their way to a 4 – 2 win over the Worchester Railers.

Jeff Morash would give the Calgary Hitmen the lead in the 8th minute, Morash would double the lead three minutes later and then with time running out in the First Period Damon Smith made it 3 – 0.

Sixteen minutes into the Second Period and the Worchester Railers would get on the board with a Christopher Jackson strike, but Morash would record his hat-trick with a strike three minutes later to restore the Calgary Hitmen three goal lead.

Troy Dort would pull a goal back for the Worchester Railers in the Third Period, but that was it for the scoring.

Rimouski Oceanic 4 Kelowna Rockets 5

Jeffrey Ingelman would score the final four goals for the Kelowna Rockets including the Overtime Winner as they came from 3 – 0 down to defeat Rimouski Oceanic 5 – 4.

Craig Macneil, Kyle Hankins and Jeffrey Loper all scored a goal each in the First Period as Rimouski Oceanic led 3 – 0.

In the Second Period, Owen Siese would pull a goal back for the Kelowna Rockets only to have Josh Bush restore the Rimouski Oceanic three goal lead.

But then it turned into the Ingelman show as he scored twice in the Second Period and then he scored once in the Third Period to send the game to Overtime with Ingelman striking again.
