Sailors Conclude In South American Regatta

The Optimist South American Championship competition came to an end with 169 sailors from 17 countries including Bermuda in the Nautical Association of the Pacific of Chile failing to complete a race for a second straight day due to a lack of wind.

Christian Ebbin led the Bermuda Fleet, in 17th with 31 Net Point, Rachel Betschart was in 45th place with 82 Net Points, Laura Hupman held down the 54th place with 90 Points, while Ava Adams finsihed in 59th place with 96 Points.

Magnus Ringsted was 84th with 116 Points, Sebastian Kempe was 88th with 118 Points and Kipling Rossouw finished in 115th with 148 Points.

Ben Redburn was 123rd with 154 Points, while Amelia Lewis finished in 128th with 159 Points and Nicole Stovell finished in 129th place with 159 Points.
