Recap: A Look Back at April 2010
April 2010 will be most remembered for the Easter weekend, a catastrophic three days which shocked Bermuda. The weekend saw a man murdered in broad daylight, three more people shot in two separate incidents, one stabbing and one road traffic fatality.
The month also saw a 7 yr old launch a book, the Bermuda Commercial Bank bought, rumors swirl around the annual Ag Show, the death of a former Governor and an outstanding performance by Bermuda’s track and field team at the Carifita Games.

- April 15th: Ag Show begins with a heavy police presence, metal detectors and more [link]
- April 15th: British Airways starts cancelling flights, which lasts for 6 days, due to volcanic ash [link]
- April 15 – 18th: Ag Show, despite rumours, goes off without incident to great success [link]
- April 17th: 17 yr old stabbed multiple times in Southampton [link]
- April 17th: Pedestrian dies after being struck by a car, identity is a mystery [link]
- April 18th: Devonshire Cougars wins FA Cup [link]
- April 18th: Rise Above Bermuda holds Family Fun Day at Victor Scott [link]
- April 19th: Pedestrian who was killed by car finally identified as 41yr old footballer Andre Hendrickson [link]
