  1. Terry says:

    And the Ewart era continues.

    Wait till Independance/ce

How much does it cost to live in Ewarts Vineyard.

    • Cleancut says:

How much would it cost to live in the Vinyard? About a 3rd of the price to build a cruise ship dock in Dockyard, give or take.

  2. The 411 says:

Im confused. How are these appointments reflective of the Ewart era? And what impact will Independence have?

    • Not the 411 says:

Your mistake, The 411, is in trying to understand any of the babble from Terry. When you see the name, simply skip past his comments and you’ll invariably find something far more sensible to read.

  3. Terry says:

No need to be confused. The “Mirrors” project et al should be a reflection.

As for Independence, easy answer. Self reliant, right?

  4. Terry says:

411…is that an area code or a pre-stepo to 911.

It’s all relative but I must ask how much are they paying you.

  5. Thanks but no thanks says:

None of this is at all surprising. The various Government Boards were gazetted today and there has been a big shake up.
I have served dilligently on one for several years and learnt through my name omission today that I would no longer be involved. There was not even a letter, phonecall or at worse, an impersonal email to advise me of this.
I am not looking for a medal but a little bit of respect and courtesy is not much to ask.

  6. Cleancut says:

thanks thanks but no thanks, thanks for sharing this with us, sorry to hear of your exclusion from the government board. i would not worry. help this community in a different role.unfortunately we, as a people dont have to much respect for each other, we all want to be STARS in this community, bermudians will never accept a difference in class. a CEO or road sweeper, WE ARE ALL THE SAME.

  7. PAS says:

I thought that a Permanent Secretary was a civil servant and therefore the job must be advertised and approved by the Public Service Commission. Are appointments even legal?

    • Cleancut says:

The Head of the civil service is the Cabinet secretary appointed by the premier, so i guess the PS’S are the same.
