Pearman Wins BPGA Tour at Belmont Hills

Dwayne Pearman and Daniel Augustus continued to put on a great show on the Bermuda Professional Golf Association’s Jack Daniels Golf Tour this week with both players taking 1st and 2nd at the Belmont Hills Golf Course.

Pearman continued his winning ways with a tour low 5-under par 65. His round consisted of 6 birdies and one lone bogey on the par 3 seventh hole.

Augustus also made only a single mistake on the par 4 fifteenth but could only get the putter rolling for 4 birdies on route to his 3-under 67. Augustus chipped in one of his birdies from some 20 feet.

Third place went to Darriek Douglas with a fine 1-under par 69, with fellow Belmont Hills professional Dwayne Gibson finishing tied fourth shooting even par 70’s with Brain Morris. Gibson actually lead the tournament after the front nine shooting 3-under 32, but a double bogey on the par 5 Twelfth put an end to his challenge.
