Results: Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix Stage 1
Stage one of the 2013 Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix took place tonight [Apr 19] and saw 122 competitors start the short hill climb in St. George which took many competitors less than a minute to complete.
Dominique Mayho of Team Madison edged out visitor Geordie Morrison of Pro City Racing by less than a second to take the lead in the Male A category. Tre-shun Correia of Winners Edge now leads the Male B category ahead of teammates KAreem Johnson and Rico Smith.
In the Open Female category, Winners Edge again topped the group with Heather Roque ahead of Andrea Proctor and visitor Sylvia Storry.
In the Junior categories, the leaders are Julianne Oatley (Female 12 & Under), Nicholas Pilgrim (Male 12 & Under), Victoria Davis (Female 13-16), and Zion Dowling (Male 13-16).
Racing continues Saturday morning [Apr 20] in St. David’s beginning at 7.45am and then concludes in Hamilton on Sunday morning with a criterium beginning at 9.00am.
