Woman Denies Stealing $26,000 Of Cutlery

A 50-year-old woman appeared in Magistrates Court today [Oct 3] where she denied charges of stealing $26,000 worth of silver cutlery and approximately $19,000 worth of jewelry.

Terry Rogers elected to be tried in Magistrates Court then pleaded not guilty to stealing cutlery worth $26,000 as well as jewelry said to be worth approximately $10,700 from one woman; and jewelry worth $9,000 from another woman. All three offences were alleged to have occurred between January 2012 and July 2012.

The Senior Magistrate granted Ms Rogers bail of $5,000 and required a surety. She must return to Court later this month when a trial date will be set.

    For the last 5 years Women are outdoing the Men in some criminal activities.

    than again Bermudians from the 70′s to 2008 got and had everything they wanted until
    things got tight a couple of years ago and here recently.— the big question is are we going crazy
    because we can’t handle it!.

    2012! the defense keep putting off the trial dates, the defense have a right to a speedy trial so should to the Prosecution have a right to a speedy trial and the defense should only be aloud NO more than 2 postponements.
