8th Screening Of “Life & Crimes Of Doris Payne”
A documentary about a 82 year old jewel thief has proven to be very popular, with seven previous screenings of the film having sold out.
The Bermuda Documentary Film Festival has scheduled an eighth screening of the documentary film The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne. The film will screen on Sunday November 24 at 3 p.m. in the Tradewinds Auditorium of the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

The film tells the story of Doris Payne, a glamorous and charismatic 82-year-old international jewel thief, who uncovers the secrets of her trade and what drove her to a 60-year life of crime.
Payne retraces her steps – Paris, Monte Carlo, Tokyo, Miami, New York – telling how she managed to jet-set her way into any Cartier or Tiffany’s, and emerge with a small fortune.
