35 Year Old Hospitalised After Industrial Accident
At sometime around 1pm today [Apr 14] there was an industrial accident at the KEMH construction site, which resulted in a man being taken to hospital where he is presently listed in stable condition.
A Bermuda Hospitals Board spokesperson said, “BHB can confirm that there was an industrial accident on the site of the new Acute Care Wing today and that one man was injured.
“The 35-year-old man was rushed to the Emergency Department and is in stable condition. The cause of the accident is being investigated.”

Hope it’s not too serious at least he didn’t have to wait for de ambulance and I hope he has insurance!
Just make sure it is his name on the chart at the foot of the bed at all times,probably be a good idea to take a picture of him and put it on the chart!
That is one major construction site. I am glad he is going to be fine. Speedy recovery young man.
If I remember correctly…the tynes bay incinerator was insured for the loss of three life,apparently In as much as you do not wish anything like this to happen….you consider it probable and account for it ahead as a contingency.Are there any details about the more obvious asspects of this accident?There are no details…was it safety railing ,harness,equipment failure….what exactly?
