Butterfield Grand Prix To Kick Off This Weekend
For the fifth consecutive year, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited will support the Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix as the title sponsor, contributing $10,000 and volunteer support.
The Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix, coordinated by the Bermuda Bicycle Association, consists of three bicycle races over a three-day period. Grand Prix competition begins in King’s Square, St. George’s on Friday, April 25 at 5.30pm with the Hill Climb Time Trial.
Action during the 2013 Butterfield Grand Prix:
Racing continues on Saturday, April 26 at 7.30am with the Road Race that starts and finishes at Southside in St. David’s. The final stage of the race, the Hamilton Criterion, takes place on Sunday, April 27 between 9.00am and 12.00pm.
Butterfield’s Executive Vice President, Group Capital Markets & Treasury, Curtis Dickinson, said, “The 2014 Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix continues the more-than-twenty-year tradition of Grand Prix racing in Bermuda and serves to highlight the world-class abilities of our local cyclists.”

Bermuda Bicycle Association President Peter Dunne thanked Butterfield for its support, saying, “This event
would not be possible without the generous support of Butterfield. In addition to the financial support, their employees donate their personal time as event marshals and volunteers.”
