Basketball: Fly Girls, Thunder Cats, Fly Boys Win
A Triple-Header in the CellOne Island Basketball League inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium that produced a total of 242 points was the final action in the league before the Christmas break.
In the Ladies game the Fly Girls remain unbeaten with a 37-14 win over the Court Queens, Inshanae Smith scored 12 points for the Fly Girls, while the Court Queens were led by Tashay Gibbons with 5 points.
The Thunder Cats who are 6-0 on the season defeated the 0-6 Court Kings 49 – 43, Chris Crumpler scored 15 points for the Thunder Cats, while the Court Kings were led by Christian Fiddick who had a game high 20 points.
The game of the week saw the Flyboys’ record a 53-46 win over the Rim Rockers. The Flyboys’ were led to victory by Kareem O’Conner with 13 points, while Rocky Fox scored a game high 20 points for the Rim Rockers.
