Sunday February 15th: “Good News” Spotlight

90-year-old barber Bo Burch looking back on his 60-year career, four students completing their post-graduate diplomas, Dr. Melvyn Bassett and Ms. Arlene Brock being inducted into the Company of Honorary Fellows, and a look at the legacy, history, and contributions of “Backatawn” were just some of the positive news stories from the past week.

The week also saw news of generous contributions to good causes, including a $25,000 donation to the Bermuda Sloop Foundation by Marsh and Guy Carpenter and a $6,640 donation by Fairmont to the Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust.
