“Also part of the discussion was the upcoming Overseas Territories Joint Ministerial Council meetings in November. As with the previous meetings with the UK Ministers, the Premier presented the Foreign Secretary with a pair of traditional Bermuda shorts and knee socks.
“The Premier also engaged in media outreach today, conducting interviews with BBC Radio 4, BBC Business Live and CNBC UK Closing Bell.
“In each instance the topics of discussion included Bermuda’s solid reputation in financial services and providing clarity about Bermuda’s tax regime.
“It is anticipated the CNBC interview will air today while the BBC interviews will air next month.”
Premier Dunkley was accompanied to today’s meeting by the Secretary to the Cabinet Dr. Derrick Binns and the Bermuda Government’s London Office Director and UK Representative, Kimberley Durrant.
Hmmm….. always in the limelight for picture taking! Unbelievable!
I am thinking the UK government is glad it was not those Four plp misfits showing up at their door with nothing but silliness, creating a complete waste of time for the UK representatives!!!!
Bingo. the last thing they want to address is a plp circus. Plus Dunkley takes a better picture than Bean. But no one can beat the good Dr for photo ops
He is a politician numb nut . Please think for yourself .
I am confused here Dunkley is saying we are off the Tax Haven list and in the Business section it says “DC names Bermuda on tax haven list” which one is it!!
Show me a Politician who does not look for the photo op…..imagine Bean standing there with the sour look on his face
