Sunday September 13th: “Good News” Spotlight

News that a visiting UK football fan got a surprise visit from Clyde Best, Marshall Diel & Myers Limited selecting William Finnerty and Taylor Braithwaite as the winners of their legal education awards, local dance teacher Nikia Manders set to launch Bermuda Dance Academy, and Bermuda’s Flora Duffy racing to her highest ever WTS finish in Canada were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

Other good news stories included Digicel holding its NBA Jumpstart Basketball Clinic, Maximilian Santiago winning the Cambridge Cup for St. George’s Prep, Warwick Academy celebrating its record-breaking International Baccalaureate results, footballer Rai Simons scoring in a Chesterfield FC victory, and Bermuda’s Trey Tucker scoring for his Wheeling Jesuit University men’s soccer team.
