Sunday December 25th: “Good News” Spotlight
This week is culminating in Christmas celebrations across the island today [Dec 25], with good news from the past week including JetBlue Airlines increasing service to Bermuda, Delray Rawlins was selected for England’s U19 squad, and Flora Duffy was named Triathlon World’s ‘Female Athlete of Year’ all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
Other good news stories included Bermudian filmmaker Al Seymour Jr. releasing a new short film, Validus Group donating $20,000 to Project Action, Dunkley’s Dairy holding a Christmas hamper giveaway, and Theresa Harney-Zuill winning Hotelier of the Year.
In additional good news, Dr. Ty-Ron Douglas will receive the Columbia Business Times ’20 Under 40′ Award, Deondre Morris won a championship belt in Toronto, Jillian Terceira won in her equestrian class in Belgium, Bermuda children made 200 Christmas cards for seniors, and Jonte Smith scored in a victory over Godalming Town.
