West Ham United U19 Defeat Bermuda U/19
The Bermuda International Football Festival concluded at the National Sports Center, with West Ham Under 19 defeating the Bermuda Under 19 team 4 – 1.
Bermuda’s starting lineup included Quinaceo Hunt, Jahkeylo Burgess, Edry Moore, Zuhri Burgess, Jahkari Furbert, D’Andre Wainwright, Diego Richardson, Rahzir Smith-Jones, Knory Scott, Mical Hardtman and MoZiah Selassie.
West Ham United’s starting lineup included Jayden Fevrier, Josh Wilson-Esbrand, Louie Watson, Anouar El Mhassani, Jade Mingi, Sebastain Nebyla, Emmanuel Longelo, Bernardo Rosa, Kai Corbett, Kyle McGeachy, and Serine Sanneh.
West Ham United finished their Tour of Bermuda with a record of 3 wins and 1 draw in the Bermuda International Football Festival, following their 4 – 1 win over the Bermuda Under 19 National Team at the National Sports Center.
Kai Corbett gave West Ham United the lead in the 16th minute when he beat the offside trap and scored pass and advancing Hunt in goal for Bermuda.
In the 30th minute Bermuda came close to equalizing when they were awarded a penalty, but Rahzir Smith-Jones’ penalty was saved.
The score remained 1 – 0 at the break with West Ham United enjoying most of the play in the first 45 minutes.
Two minutes into the second half West Ham United doubled the lead when Josh Wilson-Esbrand scored, West Ham United would go up 3 – 0 when Emmanuel Longelo found the back of the net in the 61st minute.
Substitute Kane Crichlow would pull a goal back for Bermuda in the 71st minute, but in injury time West Ham United would restore their three goal lead when Corbett added his second goal of the game.
