Court: Officer Resigns After Court Conviction
A 34-year-old man has resigned his position as a police officer after pleading guilty to an offence in relation to destroying traffic tickets.
34-year-old Kyle Wheatley admitting to planning with others to pervert the course of justice by destroying traffic tickets issued to motorists who were alleged to have committed traffic offences.
Speaking at a press conference, Commissioner of Police Stephen Corbishley confirmed that he accepted Mr Wheatley’s resignation.
