Video: Sunday March 15th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Marcolliver Philip and Sam Webel were awarded Menuhin Foundation scholarships, Buy Back Bermuda is getting set to turn 3.5 acres of land along the Shelly Bay stretch into a nature reserve, and a second Cahow chick hatched on Nonsuch Island were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Zeiko Lewis scored for Charleston Battery, Dale Eve was featured in a Spennymoor Town match day programme, Flora Duffy has resumed training following surgery to treat a fracture in her hand, and Elan Daley won gold medals and broke records in the Winter Ontario Swimming Long Course Championships.
Other good news stories included Endeavour Community Sailing celebrating International Women’s Day, Markel Bermuda sponsoring the Race for Memories, Virginia DeGraff celebrating her 100th birthday, and the Bank of Butterfield accepting applications for its undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships.
