Cricket Players Of Week & Match Of The Day
The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced the Premier and First Division players of the week, and Southampton Rangers Sports Club, in partnership with the BCB will be hosting this season’s first ‘Match of the Day’ this Sunday [July 25] at 3.00pm.
A spokesperson said, “The BCB is pleased to announce the T20 Domestic League Premier and First Division players of the week for matches held on July 18.
Premier Division
“Malachi Jones [Southampton Rangers CC v Willow Cuts CC] – 81 not out
“The current standings for the T20 Premier Division are as follows:
First Division
“Torleair Caines [Warwick Workmens Club v Western Stars SC] – 53 runs not out, 1 wicket for 28 runs
“The current standings for the T20 First Division are as follows:
“The 2021 league season will consist of two complete rounds, which will include promotion and relegation [2 up and 2 down].
“This week’s Player of the Week is sponsored by Orchid Nail Spa. Winners will receive a $50 gift certificate towards a treatment of their choice.
“Southampton Rangers Sports Club, in partnership with the Bermuda Cricket Board will be hosting this season’s first ‘Match of the Day’ this Sunday, July 25th at 3.00 pm.
