Experience Investment Programme Webinar
The Bermuda Tourism Authority is inviting tourism entrepreneurs to register for the Experience Investment Programme webinar, which will be held on Thursday [Sept 2].
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Tourism Authority has announced the renewal of the Experience Investment Programme [EIP] Fall-Spring edition. The programme creates opportunities for tourism entrepreneurs to be considered for funding and marketing support for unique activations running from November 2021 until April 2022.
“Tourism stakeholders and entrepreneurs are invited to a Bermuda Tourism Authority Experiences Webinar on September 2, 2021. In addition to providing guidance to first-time applicants on navigating the application process, the webinar will help drive understanding of key requirements for successful tourism experiences that include unique, authentically Bermudian, frictionless experiences.”
“Bermuda’s tourism recovery will rely on fresh ideas and visitor-friendly solutions for the on-island experience. Our webinar will help newcomers and existing tourism stakeholders develop their tourism experience ideas in ways that will be successful and make sense considering the challenges that will be faced in the current climate.” said Tashae Thompson, Assistant Director, Experience Development, Bermuda Tourism Authority.
The BTA added, “Registration has opened for the webinar which takes place on Thursday September 2 at 11AM. The application portal will be open from September 3-30, 2021 with the winner to be announced in the first week of November following a month-long review process.
“Applicants are invited to submit applications that run during the November to April period and are encouraged to ensure their proposals meet targeted criteria. The application grading process is weighted to support proposals that include live entertainment, and experiences that showcase Bermuda’s history and culture in fresh ways, as well as those that repurpose on-island venues to create unexpected, authentic experiences.
“The free webinar will take place on Thursday, Sept 2 at 11AM. The application portal will go live on September 3 with a deadline of September 30. Register for access to the live or recorded online here. The recorded webinar will be available on the BTA website on September 3, 2021.
