Photos: Superyacht ‘Azamanta’ Visits Bermuda
The 180-foot long superyacht Azamanta recently paid a visit to Bermuda.
The SuperYacht Times website said, “Azamanta is a motor yacht with a length of 55.0m. The yacht’s builder is Heesen from Netherlands who delivered superyacht Azamanta in 2015. The superyacht has a beam of 9.6m, a draft of 3.15m and a volume of 757 GT.
“The Azamanta features exterior design by Omega Architects, while her interior was penned by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design , with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Up to 12 guests are accommodated on board the superyacht Azamanta, and she also has accommodation for 13 crew members including the captain of Azamanta.
“The Heesen 55m Steel yacht Azamanta has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She is powered by 2 MTU engines, which give her a cruising speed of 13.0 kn and a top speed of 16.5 kn. The yacht has a speed of 13.0 kn. The yacht carries 100,000 liters of fuel on board, and 25,000 liters of water.”
I don’t see too many super yachts. I hope BYS isn’t going to waste taxpayers money with this new Yacht incentive/marina in St George! Makes no sense to build a marina when you cannot attract them here in the 1st place.
Was Dr. Ewart Brown asked about an expanded marina for St. George’s?
He did expansions Very Well for Dockyard.
