Hockey: Bermuda Win & Clarke Named MVP
The Bermuda women’s hockey team has concluded the Central American and Caribbean Games Qualifier Tournament in top style, claiming the overall victory, qualifying for the CAC Games, and Bermuda’s Maha Clarke was named the women’s tournament MVP.
As is traditional, the conclusion of the event — which was held in Bermuda at the National Sports Centre — included an appearance from our Gombeys.
Bermuda topped the Women’s Group with 7 points, while Puerto Rico earned four, Jamaica finished with four, while Guyana had zero.
The Pan American Hockey Federation [PAHF] posted the photos below and noted that the Bermuda women’s team won and Maha Clarke earned the Most Valuable Player award.
