Conyers Legal Education Awards Recipients

Conyers announced the recipients of their 2022 Legal Awards, with Sierra Brangman, Angelica Wales, Nazari Woods, Chrysda Smith, and Taylor Crichlow all receiving educational awards.

A spokesperson said, “Conyers is pleased to announce the recipients of the Legal Education Awards for 2022. This year, the firm supported five Bermudian law students with over $70,000 in funding.

  • Sierra Brangman was presented with the Conyers Legal Scholarship to further her legal studies at the University of Dundee, where she is entering her 3rd year. The award is valued at $30,000 per year for a maximum of three years.
  • Angelica Wales and Nazari Woods have each received a Legal Award of $20,000 and $15,000, respectively. Angelica will be graduating from The University of Law and will be entering the post-graduate Legal Practice Course [LPC] in September 2022. Nazari will be graduating from University of Kent and entering the post-graduate Legal Practice Course [LPC] in September 2022.
  • Chrysda Smith and Taylor Crichlow have each received a bursary of $8,000 and $5,000 respectively to begin their studies of law. Chrysda will be attending University of Law, Manchester following her graduation from York University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Criminology. Taylor will be going to University of Essex following her graduation from Warwick Academy secondary school.
