Warwick Archers Youth Football Tryouts
The Warwick Archers are holding tryouts for their youth programs, with sessions beginning the week of June 13.
A spokesperson said, “The Warwick Archers is the youth program for the Robin Hood Football Club [registered charity #998], offering teams in the U13-U23 age groups of the Bermuda Football Association youth leagues. Established in 2016, the program has quickly emerged as one of the premier youth football programs in Bermuda – evidenced by the success during the recently completed BFA youth season and awards.
“The goal and mission for the Warwick Archers is to provide a holistic program that will develop the football talents of the players, while working to instill the characteristics and values for life successes such as respect, commitment, a strong work ethic, discipline, teamwork, perseverance, resilience, passion, optimism, a desire to improve, a commitment to learning.
“The program promotes educational pathways available through football to help student-athletes fulfil their academic and athletic goals, and partners with overseas organization to provide opportunities for team and individual guest player participation at events.
“Registration is now open for players seeking to be a part of the Warwick Archers program for the 2022-2023 BFA football season. “We will hold open evaluation sessions for the remainder of June for the U13, and U15 age groups as follows:
- U13s – Tuesday & Thursday 6:30-8:00 pm @ Warwick Academy
- U15s – Tuesdays & Thursday 5:30-7:00 pm @ Warwick Academy
“These sessions will begin the week of June 13th, 2022 and run until June 30, 2022.
“Please note: no sessions will be held on June 14, 2022 as the Bermuda National team is playing against Montserrat at the Flora Duffy National Stadium.
“U17s interested to join the Warwick Archers are asked to send an email to register interest and we will advise of the dates and times for sessions.”
