Ministers Enjoy Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon Event
“After a two-year hiatus, it was heartwarming to watch our young athletes rejoice in their element this past weekend at the Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon,” said Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport Dr. Ernest Peets.
“As we continue to move beyond the pandemic, it’s so gratifying to attend sporting events and support our young athletes along their journey,” he added.
Minister of Education Diallo Rabain also attended the event and presented awards and said, “It was a beautiful day in Bermuda watching our students thrive as they swam, biked, and ran with ease. I’m thankful that despite disruption, we are now moving to a place where our students can resume experiences that benefit their long-term development.”
Michael DeCouto, Clarien’s EVP, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer said, “We are incredibly grateful to all those who participated in and helped to make the 32nd annual Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon a success this past Saturday.
“In addition to the young people ages 3-15 who tested their mettle during the event, we were also pleased to welcome the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport, Dr. Ernest Peets and the Minister of Education, the Hon. Diallo Rabain, whom were able to show their support of the Island’s budding and aspiring young athletic talent.
