BNA Women’s Summer & Coed League Results
The Bermuda Netball Associations Women’s Summer League and Coed League continued at the Bernard’s Park.
Women’s League
The Stars defeated the BHB Angels 29 – 14, Fredricka Samuels led the Stars to victory with 19 goals, while Eshe Grant, and Miesha Greaves both added 5 goals each, with Imani Woolley named the teams MVP. Donnisha Gardener scored 9 goals for the BHB Angels, while Charlene Gomez added 5 goals, with Yatana Hemmings named MVP.
The Tigers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 42 – 20, Diara Benjamin scored 20 goals for the Stars, Diane Smith, and Jahtuere Trott added 8 goals each, while Niasiah Berkeley added 4 goals, and Micah Pond scored twice. Darrika Simons scored 15 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, while Zhanae Simmons added 5 goals.
The PHC Lady Zebras defeated the St. George’s Lady Colts 20 – 17, the PHC Lady Zebras were led to victory by Vernicka Symonds with 14 goals, while Tyra Lyn Simmons added 6 goals, Selena Bascome scored 12 goals for the St. George’s Lady Colts, with Nicole Smith adding 5 goals, Coriah Simmons was named the teams MVP.
Coed League
In the final game in the League the North Village Rams defeated PwC 18 – 12. Darrika Simons scored 10 goals for the North Village Rams, Tejour Riley added 4 goals, Zhanae Simons, and Jai-zel Smith-Deshields scored two goals each, with Quinn Simmons named MVP. PwC got 6 goals each from Zureena Rubaine, and Caitlyn Lawrence, with Kiantae Lightbourne named MVP.
