Kempe & Stovell Conclude World Championships
Sebastian Kempe and Nicole Stovell concluded competing in the Allianz Youth World Sailing Championships in The Hague, Netherlands.
Kempe made an outstanding showing to place 2nd in the 61-strong male international fleet, while Stovell finished 23rd in the 56-strong female international fleet.
The event — which included over 400 sailors from 67 nations — took place off the coast of Scheveningen in the Netherlands from July 8-15 2022, and the organisers noted that “almost all current Olympic champions have competed in previous editions of the Youth Sailing World Championships.”
