100 Women In Finance Hold Hybrid Event
100 Women in Finance in Bermuda said they “successfully hosted its first hybrid event” on September 8th sponsored by Bermuda Clarity Institute, with members “able to join in-person or online.”
A spokesperson said, “Members both in Bermuda and across 100 Women in Finance’s global finance network heard from Eva Yazhari, the visionary General Partner of Beyond Capital Ventures, an emerging markets impact investment fund which invests in companies that have impact baked into their business models. Eva is also the author of a new book The Good Your Money Can Do.
“Drawing on the lessons from her book, Eva presented 7 Steps to Becoming a Conscious Investor and how to navigate the spectrum of values-aligned investment strategies and impact investing whilst identifying and defining our true values. Eva provided great insight on the power of socially-conscious investing for the greater good, along with the financial and social returns this approach can bring.
Stuart Lacey of BCI, Mathilde Beniflah of Beyond Capital, Eva Yazhari, guest speaker, of Beyond Capital Ventures, and Alison Morrison Chair of 100 Women in Finance Bermuda Committee
Alison Morrison, Managing Director & Founder of Bermuda Compliance Consultants Ltd. & Chair of the 100 Women in Finance Committee in Bermuda said, “We were delighted to welcome Eva back to Bermuda to speak, not only to our local members, but also to many of our members from around the globe from Bermuda Clarity Institute’s Learning Laboratory. Eva provided a thought-provoking discussion followed by a Q&A session led by Stuart Lacey, Co-Founder & Director of Bermuda Clarity Institute.
Eva Yazhari, General Partner of Beyond Capital Ventures, added: “I was delighted to return to Bermuda to reconnect with the 100 Women in Finance community on the island and beyond. In particular, I was inspired by the interest from attendees in finding more purpose in their money, and re-examing the ways in which they can each become more conscious investors. I look forward to future collaborations to continue to demonstrate that it is possible to do well and do good – without any tradeoffs”.
Stuart Lacey, Co-Founder & Director of Bermuda Clarity Institute added: “I was delighted to host Eva in our Learning Lab where we marry science with play in a uniquely immersive and interactive way that is designed to spur individuals, leaders and teams toward the best version of themselves. Bermuda Clarity Institute is a leadership and organizational learning fundamentally rethought.
