St. George’s Colts and the North Village Rams earned wins in the latest round of football action.
Tuff Dogs 1 – St. George’s Colts 11
The St. George’s Colts advanced into the next round of the Bermuda Football Association’s FA Challenge Cup following their 11 – 1 win over Tuff Dogs.
Jonte Smith led the St. George’s Colts to victory with a hat-trick, Sage Blair-Paynter, and Allan Douglas added two goals each, while Jahkai Brangman, Blaiz Hall, Keishon Wilson, and Jai Burgess all added a goal each, and Kyle Hamilton scored the lone goal for Tuff Dogs.
Footy Kings 0 – North Village Rams 2 [After Extra Time]
The North Village Rams defeated Footy Kings 2 – 0 in the nightcap, with the match going into extra time.
After a scoreless 90 minutes of action, the North Village Rams would finally take the lead in the 112th minute when Tahmi Williams scored, but in the 117th minute Footy Kings had a chance to level the score when they were awarded a penalty, however Keishen Bean had his penalty saved by Detre Bell. The North Village Rams got a second goal in the 120th minute with Tre Ming finding the back of the net.
