Island Boat Club Expands To East End Location
Island Boat Club will open an east end location on May 1.
A spokesperson said, “Members can now choose to depart from either the west end of the island, from Carolina Bay in Sandy’s, or the east end of the island at Boat Port, St. George’s. Members will now have quick and easy access to boating the entire island.”
Jack Bridges, owner of Island Boat Club, said, “The new location allows us to better serve our members in the east end of the island and offer our members ultimate flexibility as all members will have equal access to both east and west locations depending on where they would like to go boating that day.”
The spokesperson said, “Island Boat Club membership gives you ‘hop-on, hop-off’ access to a luxury fleet of boats and additional concierge services, meaning members can enjoy the benefits of the boating lifestyle without the hassles and unexpected costs that often come with traditional boat ownership. Members are also given complimentary training and on water assistance.”
Mr. Bridges said, “Our top priority is to give our members a completely stress-free and relaxing day out on the water. As a boat owner, the minimum you have to do for a day out is clean the boat before and after, deal with the aches and pains of mooring, covering and uncovering the boat, showing up to the boat and the battery is dead, hurricane prep, etc.
“For these reasons, we find our members use the boats more than the typical boat owner.”
The spokesperson said, “Along with the new eastern location, Island Boat Club has added its fifth boat.”
Mr. Bridges said, “The 24 foot Hurricane Sundeck has a ski pole which makes it great for watersports, and can accommodate up to 12 people, making it great for entertaining also. All our boats are also equipped with GPS screens to help keep our members safe and give them added confidence in operating the boats. We have added routes to and from the best boating locations on the island to make it easy for members to navigate to and from their favorite spots safely.”
The spokesperson said, “The east location will start with two boats, the new Bluefin, a 24 foot Hurricane Sundeck and Yellowtail’ a 20 foot Scout Center Console. The western location will have access to two 28 foot Axopars – Grey Dog and Whitewater – and a 21 foot Dual Console Robalo called Blackfin.
“Island Boat Club recently announced new flexible membership options. Their Explorer Membership starts at $4,950 initiation and $495 per month. A Fractional Membership option is now available for people that may not be on the island full time, travel frequently, or have other commitments and thus expect to use the boats less than a regular member. They also offer Corporate Memberships which can be customized to a company’s specific needs and how many employees would like access to booking.”
Mr. Bridges said, “We are so confident in our membership that we allow all new members the option to cancel their membership within the first two months of joining and receive 90% of their initiation fee back. We welcome anyone who is interested to reach out and book a private boat showing with myself and the team to discuss membership in more detail, or simply shoot us an email at membership@islandboatclub.bm with any questions.”
The spokesperson said, “Island Boat Club is now accepting new members. All membership options can be found on their website.”
