Bailey’s Bay, Somerset Cricket Club, Western Stars, Cleveland County, and St. David’s Cricket Club all recorded victories in this weekend’s cricket action.
Bailey’s Bay Won by 7 Wickets: Devonshire Recreation Club 87 Bailey’s Bay 88/3
At the Devonshire Recreation Club, Bailey’s Bay booked their ticket to the BCB 50 Knock-Out Semi-Final draw with a 7 wicket victory over the home team.
Devonshire Recreation Club won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out for 87, only one player reached double figures as player/coach Rudell Pitcher scored 36, Delray Rawlins was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 9-2-28-6.
In reply Bailey’s Bay scored 88/3, Jarryd Richardson was the top scorer with 35, Dion Ball bowled 1-0-8-1.
Somerset Cricket Club Won by 5 Runs: Somerset Cricket Club 194 Willow Cuts 188
At the Somerset Cricket Club, the home side managed to edge their neighbors Willow Cuts by 6 runs, batting first the Somerset Cricket Club were bowled out for 194, Alje Richardson was the top scorer with 44, while Dean Stephen was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 10-2-21-3.
In reply Willow Cuts were bowled out for 188, Deunte Darrell was the top scorer with 50, while Janeiro Tucker returned figures of 10-3-18-4 for the Somerset Cricket Club, while Dominic Sabir bowled 6-0-38-3.
Western Stars Won by 8 Wickets: St. David’s Cricket Club 211 Western Stars 214/2
At the Sea Breeze Oval, Western Stars advanced to the Semi-Final draw with an 8-wicket victory over the St. David’s Cricket Club.
St. David’s Cricket club betted first and were all out for 211, George O’Brien Jr, was the top scorer with 37, while Tre Manders was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 2.2-0-17-2.
In reply Western Stars scored 214/2, Jaiden Manders was the top scorer with 81 not out, his runs came off 105 balls, he hit 6 fours and 3 sixes, while Jason Anderson who shared an opening wicket partnership of 146 added 60, which came off 80 ball, including 7 fours and 1 six. O’Brien was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 9-0-44-2.
Cleveland County Won by 3 Wickets: St. George’s Cricket Club 187 Cleveland County 191/7
At the Wellington Oval, Cleveland County defeated the St. George’s Cricket Club for a second time at the same location, this time picking up a 3-wicket victory.
St. George’s Cricket Club were bowled out for 187, Oronde Bascome was the top scorer with 38, while Allan Douglas II returned figures of 10-0-41-4 to lead the Cleveland County bowling attack.

St. George’s Cricket Club batted first and were restricted to 49/8 in their allotted 15 overs, Clynae Burrows was the top scorer with 7, while Tia Lugo led the St. David’s Cricket Club bowling attack with figures of 2-1-3-2.
In reply St. David’s Cricket Club scored 50/3, Lugo as the top scorer with 10, while Tia Burrows bowled 2-0-5-1 for the St. George’s Cricket Club.
Western Stars Won by 27 runs: Western Stars 90/5 Warwick Workmen’s Club 63
At the Police Field, Western Stars defeated Warwick Workmen’s Club by 27 runs.
Batting first Western Stars scored 90/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Kashintae Fox was the top scorer with 26, while Chantal Oosthuien was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s Bowlers with figures of 4-1-5-2.
