Photos, Video & 360: Motor Fest On Front Street
The 5th anniversary edition of Motor Fest was held today [July 2] on Front Street in Hamilton.
A spokesperson previously said, “There will be 15 categories for Best in Show this year, having added trophies for Best Scrambler and Best Street Scram. The cash prize pool has increased from $3,000 to $5,000, with an expectation of 30 immaculate, show condition autos to join the 400+ bikes.
“New for this year – Motor Fest has designed a 160ft scrambler obstacle course, with tires, logs and platforms for the Bermuda Motocross Club to tackle in a thrilling exhibition of skill and action on Front Street!
“The Bermuda Power Boat Association will be attending to display, and as part of the anniversary celebrations they will be racing in Hamilton Harbour, with the Start/Finish line at Pier 6.
“Acrobats, dancers, entertainers and vendors will perform throughout the day – with up to 50 exhibition tents offering products and services from the auto and motorcycle industry. Greenlight Energy Eco Village will be back once more, displaying the latest and greatest EVs in Bermuda, from kick scooters to motorcycles and cars. There will be a Hydration Station positioned there for all attendees.
“A large, barricaded Action Arena will be set up for skill showcases from local pedal bike and motorsports clubs. The CG Slow Race will see participants battling to be the slowest rider without putting a foot down.”
