Netball: BNA Youth & Senior Division Results
Bermuda Netball Association League action resumed at Bernard’s Park with matches taking place in all four divisions.
Under 11 Division
The Phoenix Sparks’ Best Attacker was A’Mariss Dyer, while their Best Defender was Lyon Simons and the MVP was Quinn Burgess, while the Dandy Stars Best Attacker was Aalaysia Watson, with Naiah Rayner named the best Defender and MVP.
Kimora Day was the NPS Hot Steppers Best Attacker, Tamirra Richardson, and Reegan Lightbourne were the Best Defenders and the MVP was Sophia Oduori. Nylah Hardtman was the North Village Lady Rams’ Best Attacker, while Tabitha Ball was named the Best Defender and MVP.
Under 14 Division
The Storm Thunder defeated the North Village Lady Rams 18 – 7, Savanah Warner led the Storm Thunder to victory with 8 goals, MVP Hailey Odouri added 6 goals, and Best Defender Journee Belboda scored 4 goals. The North Village Lady Rams got 5 goals from Dani Brown, and 2 goals from Starr Smith. Davi Wade was the Best Attacker, while Nylah Hardtman was the Best Defender, with Kierra Trott was named the MVP.
Under 17 Division
The Phoenix Fire defeated the North Village Lady Rams 35 – 27, Best Attacker and MVP Sydney Santos led the Phoenix Fire with 19 goals, Makaylie Smith added 12 goals, and Hailey Trott scored 4 times, Kylie Smith was named the Best Defender. The North Village Lady Rams MVP Ra’eesah Robinson led them in scoring with 19 goals, Akina Williams added 8 goals, with Nevaeh Swan named Best Attacker, and Zipporah Grant named the Best Defender.
The Storm defeated the Dandy Stars 51 – 21. The Storm’s Best Attacker Jaelyn Rewan-Lambert led them in scoring with 28 goals, while Rihanna Reddicks added 23 goals, Sa’Ray Beach was the Best Defender, and Rayna Abbott was named the MVP. The Dandy Stars got 19 goals from Best Attacker and MVP Sioma Rudo, with Moriah Bridgewater adding 2 goals, with Ke’ahra Vanputten named the Best Defender.
Seniors Division
The North Village Lady Rams defeated Docksiders 73 – 20. North Village Lady Rams MVP Darrika Simons scored 60 goals, Best Attacker Coriah Simmons added 9 goals, and Taahira Butterfield scored 4 times, with Zhanae Simmons named best Defender. Docksiders got 18 goals from Charlotte Evans, while Caroline O’Kelly-Lynch scored twice, the Best Attacker was Ciara Izuchukwu, the Best Defender was Charlotte Donnelly, and the MVP was Naomi Szmierek.
Phoenix defeated the Tigers 46 – 24. Danielle Raynor led Phoenix to victory with 35 goals, while Ebonie Cox added 11 goals, Eshe Grant was the Best Attacker, Kiante Lightbourne was the Best Defender, with Nyisha Saunders was named the MVP. Tigers MVP JahKenya Trott scored 20 goals, Best Attacker Zariah Emery added 3 goals, and Best Defender Candace Paynter scored once.
