Mia Fishel’s Chelsea Drawn Against Ajax
Mia Fishel’s Chelsea Women have been pitted against Dutch side Ajax in the quarter-finals of the Women’s Champions League.
The quarter-final first leg in Amsterdam will take place on March 19/20, with the second leg a week later in London on March 26/27.
Should Chelsea win, they will face the winner of the quarter-final tie between Barcelona and Norwegian side Brann in the semi-finals.
Fishel scored for Chelsea in their 4-0 win away to Paris FC Féminines in the Women’s Champions League last week.
Fishel, whose father is Bermudian, headed home in the 37th minute to make it 2-0 to the visiting side.
The Women’s Champions League final will be in Bilbao, Spain, on May 25.
Chelsea are undefeated in the Champions League this season, finishing top of group D after winning four and drawing two of their six matches.
