Motorcycle Rider Injured In Collision In Pembroke
A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision in Pembroke on Tuesday evening.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 9:50pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Police and Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle, at the junction of St. Johns Road and Langton Hill, Pembroke.
“It was reported that the male rider sustained facial injuries and was unresponsive but breathing.
“He was attended to at the scene and subsequently transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, for further treatment if his injuries, the extent of which remains unknown at this time.
“Traffic currently being restricted to St. John’s Road, while the collision scene is processed. Anyone who may have witnessed this collision or may have information as to its circumstances, is asked to call 211 or, the main police number 295-0011.
Update: A police spokesperson said, “The roadway has now been reopened to regular traffic flow.”
