Family Centre Old Bags Fundraiser On Nov 19
Family Centre’s ‘Old Bags’ fundraiser event is making its highly anticipated return on Tuesday [Nov 19] from 5.30pm to 8.00pm at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club in Paget.
A spokesperson said, “Mark your calendars. Family Centre’s much-loved fundraiser, the Old Bags Event is making its highly anticipated return on Tuesday, November 19 from 5:30-8:00 PM at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club in Paget.
“Discover hidden gems and shop for new and gently used designer and ‘inspired’ handbags, accessories, and other treasures, while supporting families in Bermuda. Proceeds from the evening will sustain Family Centre’s therapeutic Counselling Services and Community Outreach Programmes, which are offered at no cost to families with children aged 4 to18.
“Coordinators Megan Boyle and Maribeth Anderson are the ladies behind the beautiful bags and accessories being offered on the night. The event is held every other year, and funds raised are donated to Family Centre.”
“Old Bags is a fun event with amazing finds. You can shop with your friends and make it a night out. There will be items priced starting at $5 and up. There is something for everyone.” shared Megan Boyle.
The spokesperson said, “This year’s event showcases donations from generous local retailers. The organizers also extend heartfelt thanks to the many individuals who donated items that support the charitable event.”
Maribeth Anderson explained, “The essential programmes and services provided by Family Centre are invaluable and deeply impactful in the lives of families in Bermuda. We continue with this popular fundraiser to ensure families can continue to access these therapeutic services and programmes without the barrier of costs.”
