Taste The Love At Woodys To Close On Feb 8
Taste the Love @ Woodys will be closing on February 8th and the BLMC said that “Woodys management have assured us that they are actively preparing for the re-opening of the restaurant.”

A statement on social media said, “To Our Valued Customers, we regret to inform you that Taste the Love @ Woodys will be closing. Our final day of operation will be Friday, February 8th, 2025. This decision was not made lightly, but due to circumstances beyond our control, it has become necessary for us to move on.
“As a dedicated Bermudian team, our mission has always been to share our delicious Bermudian cuisine with locals and visitors to our beautiful island. We are incredibly grateful to have been honored with the Best Fish Sandwich of the Year award for several consecutive years. Your support has continually motivated us to strive for excellence.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks for the countless memories, laughter, and unwavering support you have given us. You have been more than just customers; you have become friends and family. As part of such a close-knit community, we believe our paths will cross again.
“With deepest gratitude, Wayne, Annaliese, and the Staff of Taste the Love @ Woodys.”
Bermuda Land Management Corporation Statement
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Land Management Corporation [BLMC] has received several inquiries since Taste the Love announced through various social media channels that they are closing, with their last day of operation being Friday, 8th February 2025.
“To avoid any confusion, we wish to inform the public that BLMC and Woodys Sports Bar & Restaurant maintain a current lease and while the restaurant operation is changing the Woodys Bar remains open and Woodys management have assured us that they are actively preparing for the re-opening of the restaurant.”
Andrew Dias, CEO at BLMC stated “We would like to provide clarification on the recent social media announcement of the closure of “Taste the Love” at Woodys. While any closure for any period is an inconvenience, we look forward to Woodys reopening their restaurant very soon. We value and respect our relationship with the management and team at Woodys, they have been an integral part of our West End family for many years, and it is our hope that this will continue for many more..”
A spokesperson added, “For specific details on the re-opening and estimated timeline BLMC suggest that would be best addressed by the Woodys management.”
