Hopkins And Narraway Impress In Road Race
Kaden Hopkins and Nicholas Narraway delivered solid displays in the elite men’s road race at the Pan American Road Championships in Punta del Este, Uruguay, yesterday [April 27].
Hopkins finished tenth in 4hr 56min 44sec; meanwhile Narraway came nineteenth, recording the same time.
“After a long, hard-fought 4.5-hour battle over 198km at the Pan American Road Championships in Punta del Este, Kaden Hopkins and Nic Narraway delivered outstanding performances!” the Bermuda Bicycle Association posted on social media.
“Both crossing the line with the same time as the winner – an incredible achievement on a fast, flat course filled with constant breakaway attempts and intense racing.
“Throughout the race, Kaden and Nic were right in the mix, showcasing their strength, strategy, and determination against the very best riders from the Americas.
“One thing is certain – they have worked so hard this year for this moment, and today they gave 100 per cent. We couldn’t be prouder!”
