2025 Motorsports Hall Of Fame Inductees
The Bermuda Motorsports Hall of Fame Committee announced its 2025 induction class, recognizing 14 racers and associates from the island’s motorsports organizations.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Motorsports Hall of Fame Committee would like to acknowledge and congratulate its induction class for 2025. This year marks the third round of inductions, seeing a total of 14 racers and associates from each of the island’s four motorsports organisations: Bermuda Powerboat Association, Bermuda Motocross Association, Bermuda Karting Association, and Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Association, be recognised for their contributions to motorsports.
“The inductees for each organisation are as follows.
Bermuda Powerboat Association:
- Larry Robinson
- Charles ‘Chucky’ Renaud
- Brian Willis
- Carl Soares
- Fritz Reiter
Bermuda Motocross Association:
- Sinclair ‘Mini’ Gilbert
- Cyril ‘Big’ Smith
- Otis Ingham
- William Ziepniewski
Bermuda Karting Association:
- David Barbosa
- Michael Corrado
Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Association
- Shannon Caisey
- Dennis ‘Chicken’ Wilson
A spokesperson for the committee said, “We are honoured to celebrate these individuals for their hard work, dedication, and passion for motorsports. Congratulations to this year’s inductee class and we look forward to the community coming together to join us in honouring their contributions.”
They continued, stating, “It is the goal of the executive committee to one day have the government of Bermuda recognize the Bermuda Motorsports Hall of Fame as part of the official Bermuda Sports Hall of Fame, further acknowledging the contributions of the island’s motorsporting community to Bermuda’s sporting history.
