Jordan Vieira Named SAISA Rookie Of The Year
Bermudian sailor Jordan Vieira has been named the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association [SAISA] Rookie of the Year.
He competes for Eckerd College, which said, “Vieira, from Bermuda, competed in 14 events this year with nine top-five finishes. He won the A Division at the Admiral’s Cup on April 26-27 and finished runner-up at the SAISA South Top 6 Invite on September 14 and the USF Trophy on September 15.”
SAISA is the South Atlantic Conference of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association [ICSA], the governing authority for sailing competition at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada. SAISA encompasses Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.
