PwC Announce Scholarship & Award Recipients

PwC Bermuda announced the recipients of its Peter Mitchell Scholarship and ABIC Education Awards, with Kayla-Marie Redcliffe, Zuri Swan, and Nikia Matthews all earning scholarship awards.

A spokesperson said, “PwC Bermuda announces the winners of its 2025 Peter Mitchell Scholarship and ABIC Education Awards:

“Kayla-Marie Redcliffe is the winner of the 2025 Peter Mitchell Scholarship worth $20,000. Kayla-Marie is a student at the University of Miami where she is studying a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. ”

“Being selected as this year’s recipient of the Peter Mitchell Award is one of the greatest achievements in my academic journey thus far,” said Kayla-Marie Redcliffe. “This honour will support my continued growth as both a student and an aspiring CPA. I’m excited to further advance my career in the industry in the years ahead, and I look forward to the opportunities that stand, here at PwC.”

A spokesperson added, “Zuri Swan is the recipient of this year’s ABIC Award, sponsored by PwC Bermuda, worth $15,000 each year up to two years annually as an undergraduate awardee. Zuri is due to start her studies at St. John’s University this fall.”

“Winning this award has truly been a blessing for me and my family and a huge financial aid,” said Zuri Swan. “I am very grateful for this scholarship, and I look forward to making a lasting connection with PwC while gaining valuable knowledge about the industry.”

A spokesperson added, “Nikia Matthews is the recipient of the annual ABIC Award for Bermuda College Study, sponsored by PwC Bermuda. This award is worth $5,000 annually for up to two years and is available for Bermudian students pursuing an Associate’s degree in Business Administration at Bermuda College, with a goal of completing a Bachelor’s in Accounting and achieving the esteemed Canadian or US CPA designation.”

Nikia Matthews said, “I’m truly honoured to receive the ABIC Bermuda College Education Award. I’m deeply grateful to both ABIC and PwC for this incredible opportunity, not just for me, but for all the recipients. I look forward to staying connected and contributing to the great work this organization is doing.”

A spokesperson added, “The ABIC Education Awards are granted based on financial need, academic merit and field of study. The objective of the programme and PwC Bermuda’s support is to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education degrees, undergraduate or postgraduate, in a field related to careers in international business and supporting services.”
