Mia Fishel Plays For Seattle In Friendly
Footballer Mia Fishel played in Seattle Reign’s 2-1 win at home to Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds at Lumen Field in a pre-season friendly yesterday [July 22].
Sofia Huerta opened the scoring for Seattle in the 27th minute, only for Takatsuka Ena to equalise for Urawa ten minutes later.
Seattle regained the lead from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute through Huerta.
Fishel, 24, whose father is Bermudian, joined National Women’s Soccer League team Seattle from Women’s Super League side Chelsea Women earlier this month.
