Rangers Defeat PHC To Reach Knock-Out Final
Southampton Rangers advanced to the knock-out final with a 150-run victory over PHC in a semi-final match at Southampton Oval that was reduced to 20 overs per side due to rain.
After PHC won the toss and elected to field, Rangers batsman Dion Stovell scored 90 not out from 41 balls, including eight sixes and six fours. He was supported by Oyinde Bascome, who added 77 from 35 balls. The pair helped propel Southampton Rangers to a total of 235 for four.
In reply, PHC was dismissed for 85 runs. Marquel Waldron was the top scorer with 43. Swayne Campbell was the pick of the Rangers bowlers, finishing with figures of three wickets for 15 runs.
